Shonda Bailey, Au.D., CCC-A, FAAA
Founder and Doctor of Audiology at Audiology HEARS in Cumming, Georgia.
Dr. Shonda Bailey began her academic training at the University of Kansas, where she graduated cum laude in 1998 with a Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language and Hearing. She went on to the University of Kansas Medical Center, completing a Master of Arts in Audiology with magna cum laude honors in 2001, the same year she entered clinical practice. In 2008, she returned to her studies and earned her Doctorate in Audiology from Salus University, graduating summa cum laude.
Her clinical career started in Kansas City, where she practiced for 11 years. She then spent five years practicing in southeast Florida before relocating to the Atlanta area. Over the course of her career, Dr. Bailey has worked in ENT offices, a V.A. hospital, a pediatric hospital, and a school district, and that range of settings gave her an exceptional background in hearing device fitting and orientation.
Dr. Bailey holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. She places quality patient care, relationship building, and patient satisfaction at the center of her work, and she credits Evidence-Based Best Practices for the high level of care and satisfaction her patients experience. That conviction led her to align with Dr. Cliff's network, which shares her goal of making Evidence-Based Best Practices the standard of care rather than the exception.
Originally from Kansas City, Kansas, and a Chiefs fan, Dr. Bailey moved to the Atlanta area to be closer to family.
